A Message from Assistant Director of Development,
John Moser
As the new development person, I recognize that our
future fundraising success will depend upon the generosity
of many people and organizations. I am looking forward
to meeting our many existing supporters and very quickly
hope to introduce many new "friends" to America On
Wheels. As this cultivation process commences, it's
important to note that our most important need at
this time is securing additional funds to run the
daily operations at America On Wheels.
Development on the Forefront
As you know, keeping an operating budget in the black
is a tremendous challenge for many non-profits in
today's challenging economic times. However, we can
either look at the glass "half empty or half full."
I prefer to see potential and would like to ask you
all to help our glass to be overflowing.
How can we start? It's simple. While checks and cash
gifts are great ways to help us meet some urgent needs
like the repair of our boiler, utility bills and some
unfortunate recent water damage, we urge you to reflect
on your relationship with America On Wheels. If you
are a volunteer, you are already giving yourself and
your valuable time. We recognize that and are deeply
grateful. If you can help with our financial needs,
that's appreciated as well. Also, if you can put us
in touch with another passionate auto collector, car
buff or racing friend….that's super! Networking in
such ways helps to build a strong and lasting base
of support.
Very soon, these giving options will be spelled out
under our "Support" tab. If a particular option interests
you, we'd love to hear from you.

- Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)

In the future, we hope to offer a "Donate On-line"
option on our website but until then I can always
be reached directly at America On Wheels.
