1953 soda fountain, red counter and tables, red vinyl
booths and a jukebox playing songs that are sure to
bring back memories of cruising the streets of the
Lehigh Valley.
November 25 to December 31, the Train Time Charity
Holiday Exhibit will return to the museum. Special
days such as Scout Day, Sweet Surprise Day & Young
Scientist Day will be highlighted during the duration
of the exhibit. This event has always been well received
and it once again promises to be a highlight of the
holiday season.
Discover Lehigh Valley's Allentown Visitor Center
Relocates
America On Wheels was recently designated a Discover
Lehigh Valley visitor's site. As the City of Allentown
continues its efforts to revitalize and one day develop
a pedestrian river walk way with a business/retail
mix, America On Wheels is proud to be the "first settlers"
towards that goal and invite other committed partners
join us. After three years of operation we are making
great strides in visibility in both the Lehigh Valley
and beyond.

Assistant Director of Development Joins Museum
Staff
John Moser is a recent addition to the museum staff
and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. After
a fulfilling career in advertising and public relations,
he has been working for non-profits for over 13 years.
His professional background is PR but he also possesses
experience in sales, marketing and event sponsorship.
The non-profits he has served include the Allentown
Symphony Association; The County of Lehigh, in the
Office of Community and Economic Development (where
he interfaced with many non-profits); the four local
corps of The Salvation Army; and recently as Director
of Institutional Advancement for Lehigh Valley Christian
High School where I handled all areas of development,
including enrollment and marketing. During his stay
at LVHS, they saw enrollment hit its highest level,
coupled with significant fundraising growth.
